As the first day of the Outdoor Retailer Summer 2022 show continues to gain momentum, brands are bringing their A-game to the showroom floor. While flashy, larger-than-life items like Happier Camper’s new trailers might grab everyone’s attention, there are a few camping accessories from our favorite brands that deserve a shout-out.

Here’s what caught our eye at OR Summer 2022 so far.

Light Dometic GLO–A500

Dometic’s new camp light can fully charge an iPhone twice and stay lit during the process.

The first is the GLO-A500, Dometic’s new multi-use rechargeable camping light. At less than $100, the light has the ability to charge an iPhone and light up your camp. It can cycle through a variety of colors, but the most attractive color is orange: after all, the orange light is a bug-kill mode, which repels bugs and other arthropods while you’re camping.

In addition to color changing options, the light also has intensity changing options. And in the spirit of utility, the lower plastic part of the light detaches to reveal a small container that can be used to store small items like charging cords, headlamps or earplugs, for n to name a few.
