Chicago woman charged with trespassing after refusing to leave Deerfield motel, police say – Chicago Tribune

CRIMINAL PROPERTY OFFENSE
Diane B. Gold, 63, of Chicago, was charged with criminal trespassing on property on June 15. Police responded to a call that Gold would not leave a room at a motel in the 300 block of South Waukegan Road where he had been asked to leave. several times. She refused to leave when the police asked her to leave and was arrested. She was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on July 5 in Park City.
AGGRAVATED ILLEGAL USE OF A WEAPON
Jack T. Ruchniewicz, 25, of Glenview, was charged with felony aggravated possession of a weapon on June 11. Police responded to a report of an argument between two people in the 600 block of Waukegan Road. Upon arrival, police found Ruchniewicz near a vehicle. After a search, police found a handgun in Ruchniewicz’s possession. His FOID card had expired and he did not have a concealed carry permit. He was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on July 19 in Waukegan.
Mykhailo Tsiupa, 31, of Norridge, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper use of lanes on June 11. Police stopped Tsiupa near the intersection of Lake Cook and Lee Roads after observing him moving between lanes. Police noticed the smell of alcoholic beverages on his breath. He failed a field sobriety test and refused a breath test. He was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on July 13 in Waukegan.
Melissa Rivera, 35, of Highland Park, was charged with driving with a suspended licence, driving with an expired registration, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding on June 13. Police stopped her near the intersection of Deerfield Road and Lions Drive after clocking her driving 45mph in a 30mph zone. A check showed that his license was suspended. She was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on July 19 in Park City.
