Colorado Springs ‘Little Slice of Hell’ Sold to Neighborhood Buyer

Colorado Springs’ “little slice of hell” has sold, real estate agent Mimi Foster said on Saturday to a buyer who grew up two blocks away.

“She’s very excited. She lives in the neighborhood, so she loves the area,” Foster said.

The contract for the home at 4525 Churchill Court will end on July 9, when Foster said the buyer would disclose the sale price for the home.

Foster said the buyer was eager to get it back “in a beautiful house” and planned to document the gradual renovation of the house as it progressed. After the repair is complete, Foster said the buyer plans to resell the home.

The nightmare house in southern Colorado Springs gained attention last week when Foster classified the house as “every homeowner’s nightmare,” after a disgruntled former tenant vandalized the house with profane graffiti and a hammer, and left some rancid meat in a basement freezer without an electricity.
