Melbourne City Parks and Recreation is now accepting summer camp financial aid applications
camps are scheduled from May 31 to August 5
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The City of Melbourne’s Parks and Recreation Department has begun accepting applications for financial assistance for this year’s summer camp programs.
The summer camp will run from May 31 to August 5. Youth Camp is for children ages 6 (age as of September 1, 2022) to 11 (age at time of camp registration) held at Eddie Lee Taylor, Sr. Community Center, and the Wickham Park Community Center .
Teen Camp for teens ages 12-15 (age June 1, 2022) is held at the Crane Community Center 1551 Mosswood Dr. in Melbourne.
To apply, residents can download financial aid applications from our website or they can pick up the necessary forms at each community center if they do not have access to a computer.
Once completed, they can submit their papers by email to [email protected] They can also mail it to one of the community centers in town:

■ Online summer camp registration (ID required) will be available for Eddie Lee Taylor, Sr. (formerly Lipscomb), Wickham Park and Crane Teen Summer Camps on Sunday, April 3 beginning at 5 p.m.
In-person registration for summer camp is scheduled to begin Monday, April 4 at 8 a.m. at the Wickham Park Community Center and 9 a.m. at the Eddie Lee Taylor, Sr. Community Center (formerly Lipscomb) and Eau Gallie Civic Center for Teen Camp.
Registration will continue Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for Eddie Lee Taylor, Sr. (formerly Lipscomb) and Crane Teen Camp (registration at Eau Gallie Civic Center) and during regular business hours at the center Wickham Park Community until all spaces are filled. .
Summer camps are currently scheduled from May 31 to August 5. Summer camp dates and policies are subject to change.
